| Last month FLIR released its new "A8580" series of thermal imaging cameras for scientific applications. The company says that the 1.3 megapixel, entry-level cooled camera is aimed at a wide range of industrial, military, science, and product research and development applications. The product series includes four mid-wave infrared (MWIR) models and a long-wave (LWIR) version, as well as compatibility with a telephoto lens. Photo: FLIR Systems. |
