| Russian customer Conmet has used Trumpf's TruPrint 1000 system to develop a process for making personalized titanium alloy implants for treating spinal injuries such as herniated discs. The company is said to be planning an upgrade to the larger TruPrint 3000 system, which features a much more powerful fiber laser, to ramp production of the implants in the future.
