Sent to the combined global membership of OSA and SPIE in late 2018, the professional conduct survey received a response from more than 2200 people. It found that women were more likely than men to be targets for harassment at events organized by the two societies, with a quarter of the 508 women respondents reporting harassment in some form. The survey results overview, including recommendations for future actions, can be downloaded here. Image: SPIE/OSA. |
