Heatpoint – Temperature-Controlled Crystal Ovens | |
08 Jun 2023 Operational temperature stability is critical for many applications with nonlinear optical crystals. Some of the most common nonlinear optical materials are hygroscopic, and an elevated operation temperature improves the performance and lifetime of these components. In other cases, like noncritical phase matching of LBO crystals, high temperature-stabilized conditions (149 °C) are needed to achieve nonlinear conversion. EKSMA Optics is introducing an addition to the Heatpoint series of nonlinear crystal heaters - the high-temperature HP200 oven. HP200 is the perfect solution for ensuring long-term temperature stabilization of temperature-sensitive optical elements, like LBO, DKDP, and CLBO nonlinear crystals. HP200 allows temperature fine-tuning in 0.1 °C steps for keeping your nonlinear crystals at a precise temperature, ranging from room temperature (~25 °C) up to 220 °C. Features of HP200:
When used with EKSMA Optics HPC thermocontroller, the oven features long temperature stability of ±0.03 °C, making HP200 one of the market's most precise and stable temperature-controlled ovens. It can be easily integrated with your existing lab equipment using USB-C and CAN connections, which also allows more advanced control and monitoring of the temperature parameters. Designed with precision and performance in mind, the new HP200 is a perfect instrument for achieving stable laser system operation, where thermo-stabilization of optical components is needed. |
