Full-time, 40 hours per week position available, with flexible work hours.
Description of duties: Perform Human Resource duties at the professional level in all of the following areas: recruitment, onboarding, employment, records management, safety, benefits, employee relations, compensation, training and organizational development. Interpret, advise and answer routine to complex questions related to policies, practices and procedures. Assist the department director with supervisory functions relating to the smooth operation of department. Responsible for a wide variety of tasks which require the application of independent judgment and learned knowledge. This job provides guidance and support to management, all other current and former staff, vendors and a variety of individuals interested in exploring opportunities with SPIE.
Education & Experience Requirements: 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent, relevant experience. 3 years of relevant, professional HR experience with increasing responsibility is required. PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification is required.

Compensation includes: Competitive wage, annual discretionary bonus, defined contribution retirement plan with additional company match and paid-time-off plan beginning at 31 days per year.
