Lambda Physik reaches the top 50 on the German stock-market.
Last week the management board of Deutsche Boerse AG took the decision to admit Lambda Physik to the Nemax 50 share index with effect from 19 March following the recommendation of the share indices committee. The pulsed-ultraviolet-laser company has been listed on the "Neuer Markt" at Frankfurt Stock Exchange since September 2000 and generated sales of Euro 100.2 million in the 2000 fiscal year.
"We are delighted that the positive economic development of the company has led to Lambda's inclusion in the index of the 50 most important shares at the Neuer Markt so soon after our stock-market flotation," commented Dr Dirk Basting, president and CEO of Lambda Physik.
