Israeli MEMS specialist ShellCase is to join the Mirage project which will apply MEMS technology to digital imaging: barcode readers, medical scanners and night vision cameras, for instance.
Mirage is part of the EU's Fifth Framework already includes Intermec STC of Paris, Valtronic of Switzerland and the Fraunhofer Institute for Microelectronic Circuits & Systems of Duisburg. PH
