DigiLens of Sunnyvale, CA, has bought patents for electrically switchable Bragg grating technology from Foster-Miller of Waltham, MA. This technology is expected to be important for future all-optical telecommunications.
In a separate deal, the research teams of the two companies will work together to accelerate the launch of DigiLens' optical switch devices.
