Rofin-Sinar buys major stake in Rasant-Alcotec

Rofin-Sinar Technologies has bought a majority stake in its vendor Rasant-Alcotec Beschichtungstechnik GmbH, Germany.

Rofin-Sinar, of Germany and the US, makes industrial laser products for cutting, welding and marking, whilst Rasant-Alcotec specializes in aluminium coatings, including those for laser parts.
