Muro Pharmaceutical implements high-speed imaging system for nasal spray testing

Muro Pharmaceutical (Tewksbury, Massachusetts) has implemented a high-speed imaging system which enhances nasal spray characterization, testing, and product development. The system, developed by Image Therm Engineering (Waltham, Massachusetts) in conjunction with Muro, captures data required to obtain Food and Drug Administration approval of products and also allows Muro researchers to match the viscosity and other fluid properties of the medicine being sprayed to the spray pump geometry.
