Melles Griot of Cambridge, UK, has taken over LiCONiX of Santa Clara,California, a manufacturer of helium cadmium lasers. Melles has justinvested £100 000 in improvements to its optical table and breadboardproduction to increase hole position accuracy to 0.1 mm over 1 m.
