Microvision will build head-wearable displays for Navy

Microvision, Inc. (Seattle, Washington) has secured a contract to develop a lightweight, head-wearable display for the United States Navy. The display, based on Microvision's Virtual Retinal Display technology, will be used on Naval vessels to provide enhanced user interface to on-board information systems. A prototype display for sea trial testing will be delivered as early as December.
