Aydin gets award to upgrade telemetry system at Aermacchi S.p.A. facility

Aydin Telemetry has received an award for a Series 2000 Telemetry System Upgrade contract from the flight test facility at Aermacchi S.p.A. in Venegano Superiore, Italy. The contract upgrades Aermacchi's S2000 Telemetry Pre-Processor System which has been fully operational since 1995 and provides a link between the S2000 and the state-of-the-art S6200 systems, allowing Aermacchi the option of future expansion of their ground system with lower-cost VMEbus-based S6200 models as well as interface to third-party VME modules.
