Avidyne, AvroTec to provide Lancair display system

Lancair has selected Avidyne Corporation and AvroTec Corporation to deliver a comprehensive malfunction display system for the new Lancair Columbia 300. The integrated system, named FlightMonitor, utilizes AvroTec's sunlight-readable full-color 10.4-inch display and Avidyne's software products Avidyne Navigator, Lightning and Charts. The display will contain IFR and VFR moving maps, comprehensive GPS navigation data, and Stormscope lightning detection.
