Fakespace ships virtual model display to NAWC

Fakespace, Inc., has shipped its Virtual Model Display to the U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division. The VersaBench uses a mechanical design that enables viewing on any working plane, from horizontal to fully vertical, and incorporates high luminosity digital light processing projector technology for use in ambient light conditions. NAWCAD will use the VersaBench display system as a 3D visualization system, providng command and control personnel with a realistic overview for situational awareness. The VersaBench can display densely populated urban scenes that are integrated with large expanses of real terrain.
