Israeli defense ministry orders digital signal processing systems

The Israeli Ministry of Defense has purchased four RACE development systems from Mercury Computer Systems, Inc. The usage of the computers was classified, but RACE systems are currently being used elsewhere in Israel for applications in medical diagnostic imaging and for explosives detection systems in the commercial airline industry.
