Arizona DPS awards mug photo interface contract to ImageWare

The State of Arizona's Department of Public Safety will be utilizing ImageWare Software's Crime Capture System (CCS) digital booking, identification, and retrieval program. The contract for the statewide mugshot system is in excess of $1 million and will include a main CCS data base to be housed at the Arizona Department of Public Safety with 17 remote sites capable of capturing mugshots and other descriptive data for suspects and viewing the central repository's data base, which will also interface with the existing Arizona Automated Fingerprint Identification System network. The system is expected to be fully operational by June.
