Geltech wins Phase II STTR

Geltech, Inc., was awarded a Phase II STTR contract for a program entitled "Cost-Effective High Precision Fabrication Technology for Radiation-Resistant Advanced Optical Components". The award from NASA's Office of Aeronautics and Space Transportation Technology Program sponsors Geltech's effort to produce components such as anamorphic lenses that can simultaneously circularize and collimate the light from a semiconductor laser while withstanding radiation environments such as space. Geltech will be teamed with Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the University of Alabama.
