Textron to test mobile microwave landing system on French aircraftcarrier

Textron Systems announced an agreement with the French Direction desConstruction Navales to test Textron's Mobile Microwave Landing Systemon board the aircraft carrier Foch in February. The ground-basedprecision approach landing system will first be tested in a laboratoryto ensure compensation for ship's motion and to verify signal accuracyand integrity.
