Army to use Phillips car system in tactical vehicles

The United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command is testingPhillips Car Systems' "Carin" car navigation system as part of itsspace exploration program. The Space and Missile Defense BattleLab will use Carin's multiple sensors and map technology to providecontinuous, accurate navigation through extended periods of GPSoutages.
