U.S. Precision Lens given Emmy

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awarded U.S. Precision Lens, Inc., a Technical Achievement and Scientific Development Emmy Awardduring its October ceremony. The Corning Incorporated subsidiary received the honor for the pioneering development of 3-CRT video projectors and cited U.S.Precision Lens' design and development of high efficiency optics which made possible the growth of the color video projector industry.
