Ocean Optics named 12th-fastest growing Tampa high-tech company

Ocean Optics, Inc., ranked 12th among the 50 fastest-growing companies in the Tampa Bay area, which has over 3,000 technology-related manufacturingand service firms. The Tampa Bay Technology Fast 50 ranks companies by percentage revenue growth over the previous five-year period, and theeight-year-old company increased revenues more than 750 percent between 1992 and 1996 while nearly quadrupling its workforce.
