Laser Corp. introduces PRK simulator

American Laser Medical, a subsidiary of Laser Corp. (Salt Lake City, UT), has launched Simuleyes, an ophthalmic laser-treatment simulator for training ophthalmic students and practitioners. The company has also released the Patient Archiving & Imaging System, a computerized patient case file system that stores a patient history and a library of high-resolution digital images. The product will not be sold in the USA until FDA 510(k) approval is granted.
