Display technology pioneer Yaniv to direct SIDT operations

Dr. Zvi Yaniv, a pioneer in the development of the US display industry, has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer of SD Diamond Technologies, Inc. (Houston, TX) the company announced this week. Yaniv was the founder of OIS Optical Imaging Systems, the premier US supplier of flat panel liquid crystal displays., Yaniv served as president and CEO of OIS from 1987 to 1992.

"Zvi Yaniv adds a new dimension to SIDT in operational and technical excellence," said Howard K. Schmidt, SIDT chairman and CEO. Prior to joining SIDT, Yaniv was president and founder of Advanced Technology Incubator, Inc., a technology consulting company.
