10 Feb 2026 FEMTO Messtechnik is launching the LUCI-M. It is a compact, universal, high-resolution USB system for data acquisition and device control. It is ideally suited for use with femtosecond amplifiers and photodetectors, but can also be flexibly deployed for general measurement and control applications.
Depending on the model, two or four 16-bit ADCs synchronously digitize the measured values with a bandwidth of up to 1.1 MHz. This enables multi-channel signal measurement with precise time correlation. Three 12-bit DACs control external devices or serve as bias sources. Twenty-four digital inputs/outputs read TTL signals and switch external peripherals. The LUCI-M can be permanently connected to FEMTO devices with a D-Sub-25 connector, such as the OE-200 photodetector. This allows the LUCI-M and amplifier/photodetector to form a compact unit. Thanks to its SCPI-compatible command set and USB interface, the LUCI-M is not tied to specific computer hardware, software, or programming languages. Downloadable Python scripts demonstrating communication with the LUCI-M make it easy to get started with programming. The examples include remote control of FEMTO products and use as a data acquisition system.
The LUCI-M is ideally suited for controlling and acquiring data from complete laboratory setups. It is perfect for all devices controlled via TTL signals and enables multi-channel data acquisition with precise, simultaneous recording of all signals. |
