24 Sep 2024 Powell Lens is an optical scribing prism, which can optimize the laser beam to form a straight line with uniform light density, good stability, and good straightness after passing through. It is superior to the scribing mode of the cylindrical lens, which can eliminate the central hot spot and faded edge distribution of the Gaussian beam.
Powell Lens is used for positioning, laser scribing machines, processing scribing positioning, marking building targets, laser scanning systems, and measurement equipment. Used in various machine vision applications; from biomedicine to automotive assembly to chip production; various online detection of mobile phones, aircraft military applications, and shipyards.
AOS Optics provides the Fan Angle range of Powell Lens processing is 1 degree to 120 degrees. The current processing angles are 1°,3°, 4°, 5°, 7°, 10°, 15°, 20°, 22°, 30°, 35°, 45°, 55°, 60°, 70°, 72°, 75°, 80°, 82°, 90°, 100°, 110°, 112°, 115°, 118 degrees, and 120°. AOS Optics supports customers to customize powell lenses of any angle. The Fan Angle determines the length of the laser line when the distance is certain. AOS Optics uses advanced technology to produce Powell Lens to perfectly ensure the consistency of the length of the lines of large quantities of products.
Laser Beam Diameter
AOS Optics supports customers to customize powell lens of various shapes and sizes of spots. Shapes include circular, elliptical, square, and rectangular laser spots. The size of the prism spot ranges from 0.5mm to 18mm. It is very important that the laser spot size matches the powell lens. A perfect match will produce uniform lines. We have more than 100 prisms with different spot shapes and sizes, and the inventory is tens of thousands of pieces. |
