06 Sep 2024 The S16430-01CR gain-stabilized Si avalanche photodiode array sensor with a self-bias generator (SBG) is designed for LiDAR applications. This sensor outperforms other APDs in speed and simultaneously reduces the overall LiDAR module costs. This is due to the SBG, which stabilizes the multiplication factor, negating the necessity for a microcontroller and temperature sensor to counteract temperature fluctuations. Additionally, the sensor's architecture is developed to minimize crosstalk, a common cause of false detections.
