The Indylit 20 is air-cooled industrial femtosecond laser designed for a variety of ultrafast applications. The laser features an innovative passively air-cooled design, ensuring the high stability of the optical parameters in a wide range of environmental temperatures (18 - 30°C). The average optical output power of 20 W combined with passive air cooling makes it unique in the market. The laser emits 130 μJ energy 400 fs duration pulses at a wavelength of 1030 nm. The output beam has excellent quality with a typical M2 parameter of 1.1 and circularity 0.95.
The laser has a broadly tuneable repetition rate (100 kHz - 2.0 MHz) and pulse duration (400fs – 2ps) as well as burst mode and analog power control. The built-in (optional) harmonics module extends the accessible wavelengths into the visible range, providing up to 7 W average power and 70 μJ pulse energy at 515 nm with similarly good beam and pulse quality parameters as the IR output. The laser features one of the smallest form factors in its class.
The outstanding features of this laser make it a game-changer for the most demanding material processing applications. Common industrial applications include black and color marking, glass and ceramics micro-processing, semiconductor dicing, PCB and flex-PCB cutting and trimming, additive and subtractive 3D manufacturing. The laser is also an ideal choice for applications targeting the medical market, such as blood vessel stent manufacturing, microfluidic devices, dentistry, and surgery.
