Omega Optical products have the necessary design and durability for applications that enhance free-space laser communications for military and commercial customers. We produce optical filters, mirrors, and windows for satellite-based instruments required for imaging and mapping the earth and space, space-to-ground and ground-to-space laser communications, and military reconnaissance. Our precise narrow-band filters with steep edges and broad blocking for laser communication applications are combined with our ability to athermalize our filters by using unique materials and deposition methods. Resilience to extreme temperatures is a major requirement for terrestrial, airborne and LEO satellite terminal performance and longevity; our filters, mirrors and windows have the necessary robustness to withstand harsh environments while maintaining performance.

We optimize the beam shape with Spectral Systems' custom diamond-turned aspheres for a complete package offering. Optometrics gratings for tunable lasers round out our current product offering.
