Hamamatsu Photonics is pleased to announce the launch of a new innovative Chromatiq Spectral Engine™ (CSE) made by its wholly-owned subsidiary Energetiq Technology.

The Chromatiq Spectral Engine™ (CSE) is a breakthrough light source technology that offers exceptional spectral resolution, fast switching speeds, and custom spectrum generation capabilities.

It uses Laser-Driven Light Source (LDLS®) technology to provide excellent spectral radiance, stability, and a wide wavelength range. The CSE also includes an extension to near-infrared (NIR) wavelengths, covering the full active range of silicon-based detectors.

One of CSE's unique capabilities is its custom spectrum generation, which allows for multi-peak, flat top, ramp top, narrow peaks, and dimming. Due to its optimized switching speed, this product also allows for faster and more efficient switching in production environments. The CSE's lightning-fast switching speed of less than 10 ms between programmed spectra enables accurate simulation of real-world lighting conditions.
