CMM Optic Launches Fast Response, Complex R&D Development Through Production | |
18 Sep 2023 Troy, Michigan - CMM Optic announced their newly comprised Advanced Optics Manufacturing Team which is dedicated to supporting prototype-to-production from start to finish. The race to develop and place instruments in the field is only getting shorter in today’s competitive optics marketplace. CMM Optic’s metal mirrors, optomechanical components, reflective/refractive optical assemblies, and fast steering mirrors are found in large/small telescopes, test rigs, laser systems, HUD systems, and range finders/targeting systems. A highly experienced and skilled team of engineers, machinists, technicians and project managers is dedicated to getting proof-of-concept and prototype projects off the ground for defense, aerospace and semiconductor applications. This team represents CMM Optics' fastest way to support your project at the outset from design to concept to production. “With an eye to providing solutions at the production level, some of our capacity is set aside to help develop the next generation of products. Our 5-axis milling, mill-turn, diamond turning, inspection, and lens alignment equipment capacity have all been reserved, but the people are the real story on this team,” said Nate Valascho, Senior VP. “We have pulled from our most experienced team members to build this fast-response group that can nurture a project from those critical prototypes all the way to production volumes. We offer optomechanical expertise in technology areas and related applications that encompass land, sea, air, and space markets." CMM Optic designs and manufactures precision machined optics and beam delivery solutions, large opto-mechanical assemblies, and fast steering mirrors with over 30 years of technical experience. CMM Optic is AS9100 and ISO 9001 certified by NSF-ISR at both Troy and Rochester Hills, Michigan facilities. We aren’t bigger, just better. Redefining What Is Possible. Talk with Nate Valascho about how to fast-track your next advanced optical R&D to Production instrument. |
