24 Mar 2023 Protection windows are the last optic to be used before the work piece in materials processing applications. They are designed as an inexpensive consumable component, with the purpose of protecting more expensive optics such as focussing lenses and mirrors. LASER COMPONENTS offers protective windows, anti-reflection coated for the laser wavelength, and when requested can also be AR coated for a pilot beam in the visible range. Like all our optics we can produce to custom size and wavelength specifications to suit any application, on BK7, or on quartz glass substrates for higher power applications.
