Offering optimum protection for Pyranometer devices, our Optical Domes provide both high transmission and extreme endurance for devices subjected to harsh environments. As well as a range of stock, we also offer custom-made Optical Domes to meet the precise needs of each and every application.

Our Optical Domes are available in a wide range of options to meet a diverse range of requirements. From the ultraviolet (UV) through to Infrared (IR) spectrum, our custom-made Optical Domes can be manufactured from a variety of substrates (including Sapphire) to meet your project's specified waveband. These material options include, but are not limited to, BK7 (or equivalent), or NBK10 for visible applications, UV Grade Fused Silica for UV applications, Silicon for 3-5 micron in the Mid-IR band and Germanium for 7-14 micron Longwave-IR band.
