Knight Optical’s BK7 (or equivalent) Right-Angle Prisms

Alongside our vast range of UV Fused Silica Right-Angle Prisms (in stock and custom-made varieties and for use for wavelengths down to 175nm), we also offer a range of BK7 (or equivalent) Right-Angle Prisms to meet a range of requirements.

Right-Angle Prisms are made up of triangular blocks of glass with two 45° and one 90° angle. Used to turn light through 90° by internal reflection from the optic’s hypotenuse; our Right-Angle Prisms are available in two grades, Precision and Standard.

Both Precision and Standard grades – alongside a range of Extended Broadband Anti-Reflective Right-Angle Prisms – are available from our vast range of stock or as custom-made components, in coated and uncoated options; to meet an extensive range of requirements.

NB: Protection is matt black paint; however, surfaces on custom-made prisms can be coated with epoxy matt black paint.
