Laser power measurement up to 15 kW for fiber lasers | |
09 Sep 2022 The new laser power detector HP60A-15KW-GD-QBH is ideal for those in need to measure average laser power for burn-in tests, during long periods of time or even quickly in the field with the simplicity of connecting a fiber laser output directly to the detector. The HP60A-15KW-QBH series is calibrated to NIST standards and has damage thresholds up to 80 kW/cm2. With the technology uses in this product series, Gentec-EO has the capability to design custom products that measure much higher laser power levels than 15 kW if needed. Easy and convenient to use The user simply needs to connect its QB or QBH fiber output and adapted water lines and is ready to measure. There are 2 outputs on this product: DB15 and USB. The DB15 cable allows to view the measurements on your Gentec-EO display device, such as a MIRO ALTITUDE. Using the USB connection with a PC, the user can view and acquire data, or integrate the signal in a control feedback loop. This detector series is less sensitive to variations in water cooling temperature than any other high power water-cooled meter on the market, which provides a stable reading. A wireless connection option is also available with these detectors, so the high-power room can be closed and to use less cables for safer measurements. Check out Gentec-EO’s BLU award-winning technology if you are interested in this. Gentec-EO provides serial commands and application support for seamless integration with the customer’s laser application. The HP60A-15KW-GD-QBH generates zero back reflection to your environment and negligible back reflections to the fiber output connected to the detector thanks to the gold cone absorber design inside of it. |
