Innovative Line Beam Transmitter for Beam Steering LiDAR from FOCUSLIGHT

Focuslight’s innovative line beam transmitter enables a new generation hybrid solid-state high-resolution beam steering LiDAR of line beam concept to be coupled with a mechanical rotating mirror and a novel SiPM or SPAD array on the detector end. Besides, Focuslight’s high precision beam shaping technology ensures a narrow, uniform, and clean line-laser beam with the small fast axis divergence of <0.1° and a typical 25° (customizable) vertical divergence with high uniformity of intensity distribution with minimum laser intensity outside the designed FOV.

Focuslight’s star product LE02 Pro from the Line Beam LiDAR Transmitter series product is an ideal line laser solution for hybrid LiDAR to fulfill ultra-high line density, high resolution, and long-range detection for automotive-grade mass production. LE02 Pro utilizes Focuslight’s unique automotive-grade collimation lens and glass homogenizer, and can achieve:

1. <0.15°@FW1/e2 fast axis collimation in horizontal direction
2. 11° or 25°@FWHM slow axis flat-top profile in vertical direction (customized FOV is possible)
3. very uniform intensity profile with >85% uniformity

Focuslight is certified for established IATF 16949 quality system and has passed VDA 6.3 audit in 2020.
