Spectral Systems - Athermal Long Wave Infrared Lens Assemblies

Our featured long-wave infrared (LWIR) assemblies have effective focal lengths of 35mm and 50mm, with an f/1.1 aperture optimized for 640 x 480 x 0.012 bolometers.  These athermal lenses perform from -40 to 60 degrees Celsius with minimal  degradation in image quality. The pure germanium optics exhibit the preferred image uniformity versus a similar chalcogenide optic. We offer moderate abrasion-resistant coatings along with Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coatings for applications which require superior abrasion resistance. MILSpec compliance testing is performed for our ZnSe,
ZnS, Ge, Si, Diamond and Calcogenide optical products.
