High Clarity Zoom Lens for Nuclear Sensors | |
14 Mar 2022 The Model 357 Non-Browning Zoom lens from Resolve Optics delivers clear sharp images free of the strong yellow tint that has traditionally been a limiting issue for colour sensors used in high radiation environments.
Designed for use with colour CMOS sensors that operate in environments such as nuclear fuel handling sites and waste storage plants - the Model 357 provides true High-Definition quality images over an unrivalled 10x zoom range. Operating at f/1.8, Model 357 offers high image resolution and minimum geometric distortion from 400 nm to 750 nm and can image objects from 800 mm to infinity without add-on adapters.
All optical elements within the Model 357 use special cerium oxide doped glass enabling it to withstand radiation doses of up to one hundred million rads and temperatures up to 55 °C without discolouration or degradation of performance.
