Knight Optical’s Bandpass Filters for use in Spectroscopy | |
27 Feb 2022 Knight Optical can offer bandpass filters for use in Spectroscopy. We supply a range of bandpass filters for a range of applications. All individually QA checked and metrology tested for quality to ensure parts meet customer specification. Supplied in a range of sizes and shapes with custom coatings tailored to meet your individual applications. Knight Optical supply precision optical components to customers in Spectroscopy. Bandpass filters are used to transmit a specific wavelength band and absorb or reflect the rest. In spectroscopy these can be used and varied with known emission spectra. We offer multiple types of bandpass filters depending on your application. For high power systems, absorptive bandpass filters like colour glass can be damaged by the intense light. A reflecting bandpass filter such as a dichroic filter is a better choice. If your application requires your filter to be used at a non 0 AOI, colour glass or polyester filters may be better as their CWL doesn’t shift with angle. They are ideal for a variety of other applications including, fluorescence microscopy, clinical chemistry, or imaging. These filters are typically used in the life science, industrial, or R&D industries Typical Filter Types: Dichroic, Interference, Colour Glass, Polyester, Wratten All our bandpass filters are fully inspected on their quality in our ISO 9001 certified, state-of-the-art Metrology laboratory, using our Cary 5000 spectrophotometer. This allows us to work to the highest QA standards and meet the tolerance specifications on these precision components. Contact our technical sales team to discover how Knight Optical’s high quality bandpass filters and superior service can improve your instrumentation and supply chain experience.
