24 Feb 2022 LASER COMPONENTS presents its range of visible-blind UV photodiodes from ifw optronics. Offering high sensitivity over the UV spectral range of 200nm to 400nm, these sensors are insensitive to visible light, which makes them ideal for UV measurement applications where visible light may also be present. These silicon carbide (SiC) photodiodes offer outstanding long-term stability under high doses of UVC radiation as well as excellent temperature stability with operating temperatures up to +150 °C. If the inherent spectral response is too wide, we can offer versions with integrated bandpass filters tailored to your application requirements. Standard radiation-hard filters are available for UVA, UVB, UVBC and UVC.
We can also offer hybrid detectors with a suitable amplifier integrated into the hermetically sealed package.
