04 Jan 2022 Hamamatsu’s new range of mid-Infrared LEDs with reflectors, L1589x series, were realised with our unique crystal growth and process technology. They offer narrow directivity and improved radiant output vs our market-leading predecessor while still maintaining high modulation speed and low power consumption. They are available with peak emission wavelengths of 3.3, 3.9 and 4.3 mm. They target peak wavelengths for CH4 and CO2, making them ideal for use in compact gas detectors.
