Our Diamond-Turned Aspheric Lenses are the industry’s go-to choice for devices that require correction of spherical aberration – which is common when working with Singlet Lenses. Due to its non-spherical formation, Aspheric Lenses collimate and focus highly divergent rays, creating better quality imaging and, potentially, replacing multi-lens systems with one, single optic.

By using our customised service, not only can you specify for the dimension, tolerance, wavelength and thickness best suited to your application, but you can also choose from our wide-ranging portfolio of materials for ultimate optimisation. For example, our infrared (IR) substrate range varies from Germanium (Ge), Calcium Fluoride (CaF₂) and Zinc Sulphide (ZnS) to Zinc Selenide (ZnSe), Aluminium (Al) and Chalcogenide Glasses, such as AMTIR (Ge33As12Se55).
