Optical Fibre Bundles and Light Guides

Fibre optic bundles and light guides, multifibre assemblies, multibranching, different geometries (circular, square, semi-circular, rectangular, line and ring, etc) are available configured to meet specific application needs.  These are optimised for Numerical Aperture (NA) and packing efficiency, etc.

Fibre sorting and AR coating can be provided along with a wide range of fibre types covering wavelengths 190 to 2400nm.  In the event of high powers involving high temperature operation inter-fibre spaces play an important role and can be minimised or removed.

A range of connector type and layouts are available including custom ferrules meeting the requirements of bifurcated and trifurcated, multilegged, random and mapped configurations.

Applications cover life sciences, sensing, medical, spectroscopy, biochemistry and aerospace that require input- output shape conversion and combined illumination detection fibres, single source distribution and dense fibre counts.
