11 Mar 2021 Polarisation optics are used to split unpolarised light into s-pol and p-pol beams. LASER COMPONENTS’ supplies a range of polarising beamsplitter cubes which provide a simple means of achieving this. In general, there are two methods of achieving the polarisation splitting; type I which is the result of a coating, and type II relying on birefringence. We offer a range of cubes including narrow-band, broadband and high power. All our cubes have AR coating on entrance and exit faces and are marked with a dot to mark the coating on the hypotenuse to denote the best input face.
