Our Dichroic Longpass Filters are designed to transmit wavelengths longer than the filter’s ‘cut-on’ and to block bands below that point. Commonly manufactured for bands between 300-1200nm, these filters are typically specified with a 0° Angle of Incidence (AOI). Furthermore, our Dichroic Longpass Filters can also be used as beam combiners as a beamsplitter, and when used in conjunction with a shortpass filter, can also make a bandpass filter.
