Our premium-quality, custom-made Infrared (IR) Interference Bandpass Filters are commonly integrated with thermal imaging applications for a wide range of applications within industries such as environmental monitoring and security; for example. In fact, they are regularly used for detection of a wide range of gases. Furthermore, they can be manufactured to a required centre wavelength (CWL) with a narrow bandwidth in the SWIR, MWIR and LWIR. What's more, due to the coating being deposited using energetic sputtering, it makes them very durable and resistant to harsh environmental conditions.

Only available as a custom-made component, our IR Interference Bandpass Filters meet a diverse range of requirements. By opting for our tailor-made optical components, you can specify the shape, size, substrate – including material options such Silicon, Sapphire, Germanium and IR Quartz, to name but a few – optical coating and tolerances best suited to your project.
