OCT Gratings, Spectrometers, and Systems - Research & OEM

20 Apr 2020

Optical coherence tomography is a powerful technique for non-destructive 3D imaging of tissue and materials. It is used in research, medical diagnostics, guided surgery, industrial processing, and non-destructive testing. At Wasatch Photonics, we enable those applications with innovative solutions built on our industry-leading OCT gratings. Our patented designs reduce roll-off and increase sensitivity for faster, clearer images. Whether you’re a researcher or OEM, we’ll support you with the right product – grating, spectrometer, or system – to capture the images you need.

OCT gratings: Our patented gratings for OCT lead the market, delivering superior 1st order diffraction efficiency and low scatter for all polarizations, even at the extremes of a 100-200 nm bandwidth range. This translates into less roll-off and faster scan rates for your SD-OCT spectrometer or system, regardless of the application. Explore & shop our in-stock OCT gratings, or request a custom design with the exact center wavelength and bandwidth you need.

OCT spectrometers: The best images start with the right spectrometer, and we offer more than 30 models with speeds up to 250 kHz to find your perfect fit.  Choose the center wavelength and bandwidth for the depth and resolution you need, then select the camera, speed and connection right for your application (including USB 3.0). Our proprietary low roll-off design delivers the best images possible. Our standard models include visible, 800 nm, 1050 nm, and 1300 nm. We also design custom OCT spectrometers for OEMs.

OCT systems for research: These turnkey imaging systems for research are designed around our best-in-class Cobra-series OCT spectrometers to provide high-resolution imaging to greater depths. We’ve mastered every aspect of system design to give you rapid access to this powerful imaging technique, from scanning synchronization and sample arm control to software. We offer SD-OCT systems at 800 nm for high resolution imaging and 1300 nm for ultra-deep imaging.

Our OCT gratings, spectrometers, and systems can be found around the world in labs, clinics, and industry – and we’re ready to put our expertise to work to further your application, too. Whether you are a researcher or prospective OEM, send us your samples to see what OCT can do for you!
