Raptor Photonics launches the Ninox 640 II, a cooled Vis-SWIR camera with the lowest read noise on the market

Raptor Photonics, a global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance digital cameras has relaunched its hugely successful Ninox 640 Visible SWIR camera with several new and exciting design features.
Using a 640 x 512 InGaAs sensor, cooled to -15°C, the Ninox 640 offers visible extension from 0.4µm to 1.7µm to enable high sensitivity imaging. It will now offer less than 18 electrons readout noise combined with one of the lowest dark current readings on the market. The camera will offer ultra-high intrascene typical dynamic range of 72dB in low gain, enabling simultaneous capture of bright & dark portions of a scene.
Available with a 14-bit CameraLink output, the Ninox 640 will run from 10 to 120Hz, enabling high speed digital video with intelligent Automated Gain Control (AGC) which will enable the best contrast image from low light to bright as well as an on-board intelligent 3 point Non-Uniform Correction (NUC) algorithm providing the highest quality images. As with all Raptor cameras the Ninox 640 is compact, rugged and low power (< 5W). The Ninox 640 is cooled to -15ºC offering both TEC and water-cooling options, significantly reducing dark current and enabling longer exposures.

The camera come with a range of analysis software including XCAP and Micromanager and a standard CameraLink frame grabber (EPIX).
