Options
- Sizes: Standard diameters of 25mm, 29mm, 35mm, 38mm, and 50 mm with substrate thicknesses ranging from 2–6 mm. Custom and OEM orders can be sized and shaped to spec.
- Mounts: Available unmounted or mounted in a protective ring.
- Anti-reflective (AR) Coatings: Available to enhance the transmission performance of certain substrates:
o Zinc Selenide’s (ZnSe) transmission can be enhanced over a selected wavelength range, typically 9 to 11 microns, by an AR coating.
o Calcium Fluoride (CaF2) and Barium Fluoride (BaF2) have low refractive index values and do not see significant benefit from an AR coating.
o Thallium Bromo-Iodide (KRS-5) is not normally AR coated, because this would limit its broad transmission range, which is its primary advantage.
o Germanium (Ge) wire grid polarizers are AR coated to maximize transmission @10.6μ.
