Known for their ability to withstand high-pressure environments and offer a 360º viewport, our high-quality Optical Domes are ideally suited for thermal imaging applications; when specified in our range of IR material options.

As well as an extensive range of stock, we also offer Optical Domes as a custom-made order for a range of applications such as thermal imaging systems. Whether you're looking for large or small Domes or clear or filtered options; our tailored solutions enable you to specify the substrates, tolerances, coatings and dimensions suitable for your project. Available from 5 to 200mm in diameter, and 0.25 to 10mm in thickness, our Optical Domes provide you with high transmission and extreme durability in harsh environments (dependent on material).

Unparalleled in clarity, our Optical Domes offer transmission in the visible (400 to 700nm), near-infrared (NIR) (700nm to 1.2µm), Mid-IR (3 to 5µm) and Far-IR (8 to 30µm+) spectrums.

• Schott N-BK7 (or equivalent) or NBK10 for visible applications
• UV Grade Fused Silica for UV applications
• Silicon for 3-5 micron in the mid-IR band
